I have submitted a design at shirt.woot.com called “Photosynthesis”. It seems to be doing pretty well right now, and any help to push it along would be much apreciated.
I actually thought of this design while I was sitting in my biology class. I was playing with different ideas, like “Sun Bathing” (a sun taking a bath), and different “eclipse” ideas, but nothing was really speaking to me. Then I started looking around for ideas, and found myself in the classroom, where we had just learned about photosynthesis. I don’t really know why this the first thing that I thought of when that happened, but here it is:

I designed two things for shirt.woot this week:
The Electric Slide

Nature’s Geisha

I wish that I had thought about the “Nature’s Geisha” one sooner, it seems to be a little more popular than my first one. Oh well!

I’ve been in a designing mood this week. I’ve got a lot to catch up on, so I’ll make this all one post.

My “Joy” design was selected to be printed at the Goodjoe. It can be purchased here.

I made this design for the “Pointilism” derby at shirt.woot. It’s been a long time since I have submitted anything there, it felt good to take another crack at it. This is “Star Rays”, and I’d tell you to go vote on it, but the derby ends tomorrow, so it’s not going to matter anyways…

“The Leviathan” is up for voting at teextile. I had submitted this one at shirt.woot a while back, and it did pretty well but it didn’t quite win. So after I got the rights back to it I changed the colors up, added a few extra things, and submitted it to teextile. If you like it, you can vote on it here.

I submitted this one to a site that is brand new called Meu Shirt. They hold monthly derbies, and the theme for this one is “The Forest.” So here’s “Spirit of the Forest“.
Stayed tuned for more coming soon!

This one was one of the funnest and easiest to make. I’ve felt like this should be on a t-shirt for a long time, and now I’ve done it and it is currently up for voting at goodjoe.com.
I believe that exercise is important, but what is even more important is accepting and loving your body the way it is. I believe the more you love your body the higher your self image will be, and you’ll automatically want to take care of it. Kind of ironic, isn’t it?

The inspiration for this design was three-fold:
1. When I was little I used to run around with my swim goggles and pretend like I was some sort of robot or super-hero. I made the color scheme more old-style sepia to give that nastalgic feel to it.
2. Relationships with friends and family will always be vital to me. I believe we’re all here to support and uplift eachother, and the stronger our ties with those we love, the happier we will be. These two brothers are having a fun time playing super-heroes together!
3. We all have unique talents. We can either be jealous and bitter about the talents we DON’T have, or we can share the talents that we DO have with eachother and have fun! The turtle is having the time of his life because the giraffe was willing to give him a lift.
I hope you like it!
